The aim of the course is to convey the knowledge of social medicine that every physician should have as a basis for patient contact in the examination, diagnosis and treatment, partly in the case of patient contact in general, and partly in case of particularly socially ill patient groups.

In addition, time is allocated for field work in smaller groups based on social conditions in the community.
